How it works

Give important numbers a regular review

Report schedules let a signed-in team member set a regular check of supported performance measures or a saved custom report. A digest reports the selected figures; a threshold alert appears when the supported measure falls below the level you choose. Weekly and monthly schedules use the workspace timezone and a chosen local hour. Results arrive as private in-app notifications for the schedule’s recipient. This helps a business owner build a review habit without repeatedly opening a report simply to find out whether something changed.

01

What it covers

Schedule performance summaries or a saved custom report, choose the timing and inspect delivery history without assuming an email was sent.

02

In practice

Notifications reach current teammates who still have access to the report and have enabled the relevant notifications. Delivery history distinguishes a delivered notification from a measure that did not trigger an alert or notifications that were disabled.

When to use it

Useful situations

  • Review a weekly summary of won revenue and open pipeline.
  • Receive an alert when a supported performance measure is below your chosen level.
  • Follow the current total of a saved custom report without rebuilding the analysis.

A working path

How the work moves

  1. Choose the report and purpose

Open scheduled insights in Reports and choose a digest or a below-threshold alert. For a custom report, select the saved definition you want to follow and check that its dataset and measure answer the intended question.

  2. Set the timing and level

Choose weekly or monthly timing, the local hour and any required threshold. Currency measures use the workspace currency. Confirm the workspace timezone before saving, particularly when the team works across different locations.

  3. Review the result

Open the in-app notification and inspect the current report when a digest arrives or a threshold is crossed. Use the schedule’s history to distinguish a successful run from a disabled notification or an alert that did not trigger.

Illustrative scenario

A Monday pipeline check

A sales manager schedules a Monday morning pipeline alert below an agreed value. If the recorded pipeline falls below that level, a private notification directs them back to the current report for review with the team.

Before you start

What to check

  • These schedules deliver in-app notifications; scheduled report emails and external delivery channels are not part of this offering.
  • Thresholds need business context. A lower figure can be expected seasonality, so inspect the underlying period and source before acting.

Questions about Report schedules and alerts

Useful details before you start.

All questions
Will a below-threshold alert always send?

No. It triggers only when the supported current measure is below your level and the recipient remains eligible with notifications enabled.

Can I pause a schedule?

Yes. The schedule controls support changing its configuration, pausing it and removing an unwanted schedule.
