How it works
Move between businesses with a clear boundary
NovaSoft One separates your personal account from the workspaces you belong to. One central NovaSoft identity can have memberships in multiple businesses, each with its own role, permissions, customer data and billing state. The Account and workspaces page shows those memberships and lets you choose the business you intend to work in. A verified account can create a separate Free workspace when another business needs its own records. This supports owners and advisers who work across organisations without mixing their operational data or creating a new login for every workspace.
In practice
Switching changes the active workspace for the current session and reloads authoritative access. A new workspace begins with separate Free billing; a paid plan in one business does not follow the person into another business.

How the work moves
Review your memberships
Open Account and workspaces from Settings or the workspace control. Check each business name, role and current workspace indicator so you know where a change would apply before opening customer or billing work.
Select the intended business
Choose a workspace where you have an active membership and let the application refresh its session. Navigate into the relevant operational page after switching rather than assuming the previous business’s selection or filters still apply.
Create a separate workspace when needed
For a verified central account, enter the new business’s workspace details and review the creation outcome. The new workspace starts independently on Free, so invite teammates and choose a paid plan separately if that business needs them.

Two separate businesses
An owner manages a consultancy and a small retail business. They use the same NovaSoft account to switch between their memberships, while each business keeps its own contacts, team permissions and subscription.
Before you start
What to check
- Workspace membership is required before switching. Knowing a workspace name or identifier does not give an account access to it.
- Creating a workspace requires a verified account; an account may own up to ten workspaces under the current creation rules.
Does another workspace inherit my paid plan?
No. Plan and subscription authority belongs to the individual workspace, not to the central account.
Do I need a NovaSoft Shop login?
No. Native NovaSoft account registration is the direct identity path for NovaSoft One.
