Sound familiar?

Run product-led sales, onboarding, renewals and account health.

Sales and support see different customers

A big renewal is at risk and the account team doesn’t know about the open bug.

Security reviews stall deals

Deals sit in legal with no owner or next step.

Feature requests vanish

Customers ask for the same thing and nobody can count how often.

How it works for software & saas

A typical week with the Software & SaaS setup. Every name below is exactly what you’ll see in the app.

  1. Enquiries arrive with the right details

Records are named the way you talk: users, accounts and opportunities. Each new opportunity has room for use case and target seats. There are also fields for persona and product interest on users and account tier and employee count on accounts.
  2. Opportunities move through your pipeline

    1. Product interest
    2. Discovery
    3. Technical validation
    4. Commercial review
    5. Security & legal
    6. Commit
Drag each opportunity to the next stage on the board, with its value, owner and next step in view. New ones can start from ready-made templates: “Product evaluation” and “Renewal opportunity”.
  3. Quote it and win it

Build quotes from your price list with GST worked out, send them for acceptance and keep the accepted version on the opportunity.
  4. Users ask for help

    • Bug reportSomething in the product isn't working as expected.High priority
    • Feature requestA customer suggests a new capability or improvement.Low
    • Account or billingPlan changes, seats, invoices and access to the account.Normal
Each request gets an owner, a response target and a full history. Users can raise them by email or from their own portal.
  5. Reply in a click

Ready-made replies come with it: “Issue received” and “Issue fixed”. Each one fills in the person’s first name and can be edited before it’s sent.
    Issue receivedHi Sam,

Thanks for getting in touch. We've received your report and the team is looking into it. If you can share steps to reproduce or a screenshot, reply here.
  6. Follow-ups happen on their own

    • Follow up with a new user. Create a next-day task linked to the new user.
    • Qualify every new product lead. Create an immediate high-priority task linked to the new user enquiry and notify the team.
A worked example

From first contact to finished work

A trial user shows Product interest with their persona and use case. The account moves to Discovery, then Technical validation and Commercial review. Security & legal gets its own stage so it’s never forgotten, and the opportunity closes at Commit with target seats recorded. The subscription is tracked with plan, seats, annual value and renewal date. A Bug report from that account lands with an owner and an “Issue received” reply.

Questions about NovaSoft One for software & saas

Still unsure? Read every question or start free and look around.

Does it provision subscriptions or bill customers?

No. It records subscriptions and renewals for the team. Billing and provisioning stay in your billing system.

Can we separate bug reports from feature requests?

Yes. Bug reports, feature requests and account or billing questions are separate request types with their own priority.

Is there an API?

Yes, on Professional and above, for connecting NovaSoft One to your product and other systems.

Can I change what the software & saas setup creates?

Yes. Stages, fields, record names, saved views and automations are a starting point. Rename, add or switch off anything in Customisation, and your records stay where they are.

Can I bring my existing customers across?

Yes. Import a spreadsheet of contacts, companies or leads in the Data Hub, map the columns, check the preview and commit. Possible duplicates are flagged before anything is created.

What does it cost?

Free for up to two people with the core CRM. Industry starting points come with Professional at A$39 per user per month, excluding GST, billed monthly with no lock-in.

Good to know
