How it works for nonprofit & community

A typical week with the Nonprofit & community setup. Every name below is exactly what you’ll see in the app.

  1. Enquiries arrive with the right details

Records are named the way you talk: supporters, partners and funding opportunities. Each new funding opportunity has room for funding type and submission deadline. There are also fields for supporter type, interests and communication consent on supporters and partner type on partners.
  2. Funding opportunities move through your pipeline

    1. Identified
    2. Eligible
    3. In development
    4. Submitted
    5. Decision pending
    6. Awarded
Drag each funding opportunity to the next stage on the board, with its value, owner and next step in view. New ones can start from ready-made templates: “Grant opportunity” and “Sponsorship opportunity”.
  3. Supporters ask for help

    • Donor enquiryQuestions about donations, receipts or recurring giving.Normal
    • Volunteer enquirySomeone wants to volunteer or change their availability.Low
    • Program enquiryQuestions about a program, event or service you run.Normal
Each request gets an owner, a response target and a full history. Supporters can raise them by email or from their own portal.
  4. Reply in a click

Ready-made replies come with it: “Enquiry received” and “Enquiry complete”. Each one fills in the person’s first name and can be edited before it’s sent.
    Enquiry receivedHi Sam,

Thanks for getting in touch. We really appreciate you reaching out. A member of our team will be in touch.
  5. Follow-ups happen on their own

    • Follow up with a new supporter. Create a next-day task linked to the new supporter.
    • Qualify every new enquiry. Create an immediate high-priority task linked to the new supporter enquiry and notify the team.
A worked example

From first contact to finished work

A foundation’s grant round is Identified with its funding type and submission deadline. Once confirmed Eligible, the application moves to In development, then Submitted and Decision pending, and finally Awarded. Supporters are recorded with their interests and communication consent. When someone asks how to volunteer, it’s a Volunteer enquiry with an owner and an “Enquiry received” reply.
