Connector catalogue

Plan external integrations from reviewed setup templates.

Plan and accessProfessional

How it works

Give a new integration a clear setup path

The Connector Catalogue provides reviewed starting templates for connecting an external system to NovaSoft One. Each template explains the intended data flow, recommended access scopes, relevant event families and a setup checklist. An administrator can add that setup to the workspace, prepare the required credentials and endpoint, and record its configuration state. The catalogue helps make the work understandable and attributable. It does not silently install a provider application, provision secrets or certify that the outside system is connected and healthy.

01

What it covers

Review recommended scopes, event families and verification steps for operations sync, accounting handoff, service and assets, or analytics feeds.

02

In practice

Current templates cover operations system sync, accounting handoff, a service and asset bridge, and an analytics warehouse feed. Installations retain their template version and lifecycle history; pausing or removing one does not silently erase underlying API credentials or webhook delivery evidence.

When to use it

Useful situations

  • Review the least-privilege access an operations-system connection would need.
  • Give an accounting handoff an explicit setup and verification checklist.
  • Keep the configuration state of an integration separate from evidence of provider delivery.

A working path

How the work moves

  1. Review the template

Open the Connector Catalogue in API and webhooks, choose a relevant template and inspect its data access and event manifest. Confirm that the intended flow fits the external system and the information your team wants to share.

  2. Prepare the connection

Add the setup to the workspace and create a dedicated scoped API credential and signed HTTPS webhook endpoint where the template requires them. Keep credential values in the approved connection setup rather than copying them into ordinary business records.

  3. Verify before relying on it

Complete non-production reconciliation, duplicate-delivery, retry and revocation checks for the actual connection. Mark the template active only after that setup is ready, and retain the external evidence needed to assess continuing provider health.

Illustrative scenario

Preparing an operations sync

An administrator reviews the operations template, issues a dedicated credential with the required scopes and configures a webhook receiver. They test delivery and revocation before recording that the workspace setup is active.

Before you start

What to check

  • An active template records an operator’s setup state; it is not an automatic provider-health test or a certified vendor connection.
  • Removing a template archives its setup record. Review and revoke its credentials and endpoints separately when ending access.
